Musical Monday ~ One Love

This Musical Monday kicks off the 9-day
Celebration of Peace & Coexistence

It might be said that having a vision of Peace is a bit flighty; that it's not really possible. But, while I'm not sure if it will ever indeed happen, I do think it's possible.

It's at least something to strive for.

It all starts with us, I think. How we treat people, how we speak to them, and what kind of energy we put out into the Universe.

If, for just a moment, we could strip away all our ideas about others' religious beliefs, nationalities, physical and/or mental abilities, what possessions they do or do not own - we'd see that we are all really just the same. Coexistence is possible.

If we can't, at the moment, have Peace amongst all Humankind, let's at least do our part to promote it here in our own little corner of the world! It's easy, just be nice! :)

If you'd like to participate in Musical Monday all you have to do is post something musical! If you're inspired by this Bloggy Party of Peace, great! If you want to just post your favorite song at the moment, that's great too! Whatever you want, as long as it's musical!

Just post, link up and
sign Mr. Linky!

This is my FAVORITE Bob Marley song. I love it!!! Great pick! I firt saw this version of the video at a Jimmy Buffet concert. It got me all choked up. It is a truly powerful message when you see images of people around the glob singing it. GREAT PICK!

I agree with you about peace. I try to do my part and teach my children the same. It starts at home and in our neighborhoods.

I was going to post "We Are The World" by decided to go with Enya's Only Time instead. It was set to footage of the World Trade centers burning - but I opted not to show that video today. Have a beautful day.

I totally agree with you. All we need is more tolerence and acceptance for one another. We are all humans even if have different religions, races, lifestyles, etc.
