Saturday 9

I don't think I've ever done Saturday 9, but some of the bloggers I visit do. And it's quiet here for the moment and I'm kinda bored and don't have time to take a nap. So I figured, what the hell...

What was your favorite subject in high school?

English. Writing. I so kick ass at research papers. Not so much at the creative writing. I'm not good at telling a story. But I'm really good with facts and could probably write a paper on just about any subject if given the time for research. How boring.

Do you watch reality shows? Which ones?

I do. I watch the "competition-type" like Big Brother, So You Think You Can Dance, Project Runway, Top Model, American Idol. I'm not super hard core about it. I mean, I don't have a DVR and I hate being bound to a time slot. But I'll catch them when I can.

Really I don't watch very much tv. But when I do, those are the shows I watch.

I can't stand any of the "love" reality shows. There's just something that's way too pathetic about crying over a guy you just met and basically whoring yourself just to win. Plus, all the "prizes" are pretty pathetic too. Just... eeww.

What's your favorite all time reality show?

Big Brother was my favorite. But this last season really blew. Right now I enjoy Project Runway the most.

Do you feel "reality" shows are real or are they faked?

I mean, they are what they are. I don't think they are totally real or totally fake. They are most certainly dramatized. And you are only given one certain perspective of most situations - which ever camera angle you end up seeing it from pretty much. And moments are just moments, nothing is really in proper context. But I do think that the concept of putting a person with other people in a certain situation, even with a rough idea maybe of what's supposed to transpire, and just seeing what happens and how it turns out, can be pretty entertaining. People are unpredictable and definitely more interesting than written characters. At least I think so.

Whose advice do you listen to?

I usually take a mash-up of all the advice I've been given and decide from there. Whatever seems to make the most sense to me.

How often are you sick?

All.the.time. :(

Do you like or dislike change?

Even good change can really freak me out.

How many times in your life have you had a broken heart?

Sometimes it seems like my heart is just being perpetually broken...







P.S. I've decided that if they ever come up with a reality show for taxidermy artists, I'd totally watch that.
