Can I Come Live With Someone Who Lives Somewhere Warm?

Just for a little while? Like, til end of April or so.

I'm seriously freezing my butt off here!

I'm not built for this weather. It's like, arctic. :(
You can hear the wind whipping around. It's kinda creepy, actually.

Needless to say, I don't care for it. lol

My mom colored my hair today. It looks fab-u-lous. If I do say so myself. :)

But while I was at her house, her neighbor died, or had died.

Yeah.

When I pulled up (and I had Trinity with me - not cool) there were like five police cars and they were breaking into his house. I didn't see anything going on until I was leaving, unlike all the other neighbors who all came out. But I did see an ambulance drive up without emergency lights, and when I was leaving they were getting ready to take him out. One of the neighbors said to me that he was dead. Right there with Trinity holding my hand. :/

Thankfully she's pretty okay with death and stuff, we've talked about it, and a couple people and pets she's loved have died. She knows that things carry on, in some way or another - depending on what you believe, and seems settled with that. At the same time she recognizes it as something sad. But, all in all, she understands. But it still wasn't something I would have liked for her to have seen, cuz it was kinda dramatic.

So, well, I'm hoping he died in his sleep. But I do know that he didn't have any family. (He was known also for being a grouchy neighbor.) The one lady next door was mostly helping him and it was known that he wasn't doing well and was in a lot of pain.

A few years ago the same thing happened with the neighbor woman on the other side of my mom's house. And, actually, the house next to the guy who passed today, a lady hung herself in the basement. It was a really tragic story because her son came home from school and found her.

So... I'm thinking maybe if I were my mom I'd move! lol

The saddest part is that he doesn't have any family. Who will even know he's not alive anymore? Ugh, dear God, don't let me die alone! :(

Okay, moving on to something a little more cheery!!!

So, yeah, I got my hair done and Trinity went to respite tonight (which she is liking now!!) so I get to sleep in tomorrow morning! Yay!

I also went to see Zoe today and got all the laundry done yesterday! Am I awesome or what??! Tomorrow I'm going grocery shopping and I don't have to take Trinity out in the rain/cold and I'm glad about that! It's just too icky out there.

I have another busy week ahead of me - thankfully not like last week though! Speaking of doctor's appointments though!!! Check this out...

It's from Monday.

It reminds me of the part in Steel Magnolias, "Shelby, it looks like you've been driving nails up your arm!" I just love that movie! There are so many great quotes from that movie.

So anyways, of course I wanted to say

As always, <3

thanks!

For being such supportive friends!

When I go completely insane you all let them know that I warned everyone it was coming, okay?

Totally kidding lol! I'm actually okay. I just need to work really hard on clearing my head and just taking things one at a time. I just get really overwhelmed, ya know?

I really do appreciate being heard, you have no idea. Thanks for always listening! Not sure why you guys come back to read any of this, but I'm glad you do. :)

It's frozen butt weather here too! Blah I hate the cold, but I wasn't too fond of extreme heat like we had in Austin either so I guess I'm just screwed!

What kind of madcap needle sticker had their way with your arm? It shouldn't do that if they do it right. OUCH!
