Musical Monday - Stone Sour ~ Through Glass

When I hear this song I think of Zoe.

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel? That is the question
But I forget you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized
And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of folks

So while you're outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

How much is real? So much to question
An epidemic of the mannequins, contaminating everything
We thought it came from the heart
But never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises
Null and void instead of voices

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you

A lot has happened to me this past week, which is why I haven't been blogging much. I've just been processing everything. Nothing bad, really - more like an epiphany. I'm slowly beginning to work it all out and let some ideas settle in my head. Sorry to be so cryptic; I'll share as I can.

What's moving you this week?

Just post, link up and sign
Mr. Linky!

Remember, this is the last week to join in for a chance to win the $15 ITunes/Amazon Gift Card in honor of Musical Monday's one year anniversary!

Wow, I can totally relate to some of those lyrics! Some times you just have to let things that are out of your control go or they become toxic. Hope things work themselves out for you. Great Pic!

I like the melody and words - excellent choice. Would Bejeweled be the reason for the lack of blogging?lol - 1 minute game sure can take us into the wee hours of the AM.

Love to you
Kelly

I met Corey Taylor years ago, when Stone Sour first went public. I was there from a Slipknot fan's point of view, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Stone Sour's first album, & LOVE Corey's voice! Good choice!

Nothing is really moving me this week. I wish. But I'm glad for your epiphany. I would like to have one myself!

Being the nosy person that I am, I am looking forward to hearing more about your epiphany. It's a good thing I'm not a cat because I am entirely too curious.
